Vice President, Science

Tigwa Davis, Ph.D.

As the Vice President for Science at Health Analytics, Tigwa works with pharmaceutical and biotechnology clients to develop, and execute rigorous scientific studies in delivery channel research.  Areas of significant interest include neurological, psychiatric, inflammatory and metabolic disorders.

Prior to joining Health Analytics, Tigwa was an Assistant Professor in the Department of Biology at Georgetown University. Following his tenure at Georgetown, Tigwa was a senior scientist at the American Type Culture Collection (ATCC) where he led neuroscience research and product development efforts for academic, government, biotech and pharmaceutical customers.  At ATCC, Tigwa conceptualized and led the initial development of novel fluorescent cell based assays for neuro-degenerative diseases and was instrumental in the development of novel culture media formulations.

Tigwa earned his Ph.D. in Pharmacology from The University of Michigan, and completed his post-doctoral work in the Department of Ophthalmology at The University of California San Francisco.
