Dr. Charles Reutsch

Charles Ruetsch, Ph.D.

CEO & President

As founder, President, and CEO of Health Analytics, Charley draws on nearly 25 years of experience in managed care and post-market pharmaceutical outcomes research and management.

Charley’s diverse background enables him to balance innovative and sound health care science with cutting edge business strategies that maximize quality, efficiency, and profitability for third-party payors, manufacturers, health systems, employers, and physician groups.

Sensitive to the evolving demands of a changing health care market, Charley is a practical executive with a rare combination of business savvy and scientific expertise. The depth and breadth of his combined experience has shaped his fundamental belief that health care research must have a measurable impact on business operations.

Charley received his doctorate degree in Psychology, specializing in health-related behavior change from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey – New Brunswick.

Joshua Liberman, Ph.D.

Chief Operating Officer

Josh serves as Health Analytics’ COO and Sr. Epidemiologist. Josh has led healthcare delivery R&D teams for more than two decades. Josh understands the provider, payer, and pharmacy (i.e., retail, mail, and specialty) perspectives and barriers to optimizing care for patients.

His work in pharmacoeconomics and pharmacoepidemiology has expanded understanding of the effects of cost and benefit design on access to medications, the value of shared decision making, and the role of the pharmacist and physician in treatment selection and management.

Over the past decade, Josh has translated this work to solutions to make the most of pharmacy care for patients, working at the intersection of digital health, analytics, and improved communication to make medication management easier for providers and to help patients gain the knowledge and understanding to effectively self-manage.

Josh received his doctorate degree in Epidemiology from The Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland.

Troy Ross, M.S.

Troy Ross, M.S.

Director of Business Development & Market Access Consulting

Troy leads the Sales, Marketing, and Market Access Consulting business lines for Health Analytics. He joins the team with over 20 years of experience as a pharmaceutical sales and marketing executive, serving in leadership positions with Novo Nordisk, Pfizer, Parke-Davis and Warner Lambert. In his new role, Troy will advance Health Analytics’ mission to deliver a HEOR-focused understanding of the economic and clinical health outcomes consequences of therapeutic interventions and of specific treatment decisions.

Prior to joining Health Analytics, Troy served as the President and CEO of the Mid-America Coalition on Health Care (MACHC), leading the coalition and its 60+ members and contributors in improving the health of employees and families throughout the community via the group’s unique collaborative model in the Kansas City region.

Troy is a national healthcare leader who leverages his significant sales and marketing expertise, along with his significant track record of building and aligning teams, to achieve dramatic bottom-line results. He is experienced at building consensus and inspiring mutually beneficial action among multiple diverse health care stakeholders, including employers, hospitals, health plans, physicians and medical groups, universities, public health, governmental units, broker/consultants, and pharmaceutical companies. Troy’s career in pharmaceutical sales and marketing spans product launch and lifecycle management, to enterprise strategy development. He is an exceptional team builder who inspires confidence, leads by example, and fosters an atmosphere of accountability and trust, and is recognized for rapidly establishing credibility with key decision-makers and gaining the commitment of cross-functional resources.

Troy received his Master of Science in Management from Baker University School of Professional & Graduate Studies and his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Mid-America Nazarene University.

Tigwa-Our Team

Tigwa Davis, Ph.D.

Sr. Principal Investigator

As the Senior Investigator at Health Analytics, Tigwa works with pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical device manufacturers to develop and execute rigorous studies in healthcare outcomes research. Areas of research interest include neurological, psychiatric, inflammatory, and metabolic disorders. 

Prior to joining Health Analytics, Tigwa was an Assistant Professor in the Department of Biology at Georgetown University. Following his tenure at Georgetown, Tigwa was a senior scientist at the American Type Culture Collection (ATCC) where he led neuroscience research and product development efforts for academic, government, biotech, and pharmaceutical customers. At ATCC, Tigwa conceptualized and led the initial development of novel fluorescent cell based assays for neuro-degenerative diseases and was instrumental in the development of novel culture media formulations.

Tigwa earned his Ph.D. in Pharmacology from The University of Michigan, and completed his post-doctoral work in the Department of Ophthalmology at The University of California San Francisco.

Emily-Our Team

Emily Wiggins, MPH

Research Investigator

Emily is a Research Investigator at Health Analytics. She is responsible for overseeing the implementation of various research projects and deliverables within the company’s portfolio.

Emily works with pharmaceutical clients to develop research proposals, protocols, final reports, and publications (e.g., peer-reviewed manuscripts, poster presentations).

Before joining Health Analytics, Emily was the associate director of a cancer research team in Durham, North Carolina, where she managed a team of clinical research coordinators conducting prospective, retrospective and tissue studies. Her research interests include cancer prevention and mental health disorders.

Emily earned her Master’s of Public Health degree in Behavioral Sciences and Health Education from Emory University in May 2018. She has over 5 years of professional experience in clinical research project management.

Anna-Our Team

Anna Rui

Lead Biostatistician

Anna serves as the Lead Biostatistician and Manager of the Biostatistics Team at Health Analytics. She is responsible for data management, programming, and statistical analysis.

Anna works with pharmaceutical and biotechnology clients to develop and execute rigorous statistical analyses in delivery channel research.  Her areas of interest include cardiovascular disease, mental health, opioids, and injury research. 

Prior to joining Health Analytics, Anna was a Health Statistician at the CDC’s National Center for Health Statistics where she was actively involved in the design and execution of analysis and authoring of numerous reports and publications.

Anna earned her Master’s of Public Health degree  in Biostatistics from The George Washington University Milken Institute School of Public Health.

Alicyn-Our Team

Alicyn Hodges

Senior Project Manager

Alicyn serves as the Senior Project Manager at Health Analytics and is Manager of the Research Assistant Team.

Alicyn leads all project management activities for the research operations team, utilizing her expertise in strategic planning and management to ensure the timely delivery of project deliverables for clients.

Alicyn brings with her more than 20 years of experience focused on project management across the healthcare and pharmaceutical industries.

She has overseen the implementation of healthcare initiatives and outcomes research for health plans, pharmaceutical benefit management firms and disease management programs.

She is heavily involved with the Project Management Institute, including the local chapters in Washington, DC and Baltimore, MD, and has served in various leadership capacities.
